Stafford Health and Wellbeing are part of a group of 4 practices working together as a PCN (Primary Care Network) called Stafford Town PCN. The PCN provides services to patients of the practices covering a population of approximately 42,000. The other practices in the group include Wolverhampton Road Surgery, Castlefields and Holmcroft Surgery.
The PCN provides enhanced services to patients which include extended hours, enhanced health in care homes, and the Covid vaccination service. The PCN also employ additional staff to support the GP practices which currently includes a social prescriber, clinical pharmacists, first contact physiotherapist’s, physicians associate and a mental health worker.
