Booking appointments with the Mental Health Practitioner

Mental Health Practitioners are experienced mental health staff with expertise in the assessment and management of mental health conditions.

The role of the Mental Health Practitioners is to assess people’s needs, provide advice and guidance and support access to appropriate services if required.

They can see patients aged 18 years and over who are not already open to Mental Health Services. They can’t prescribe medication or issue fit notes.
