Important Update: Two New Systems Launching October 6th to Improve Patient Access

We’re excited to announce two major improvements coming to Stafford Health and Wellbeing from Monday, October 6th—designed to make it easier and faster for you to get the care and support you need.


🗓️ New Appointment and Admin Request System

From October 6th, all GP appointments and administrative queries will need to be submitted via our new online triage system, available on our website:

👉 Contact us about your request – Accurx Patient Portal

Simply complete a short online form detailing your request—whether it’s a medical issue, prescription, fit note, or referral. Your submission will be reviewed by a GP or senior clinician and directed to the most appropriate team member, usually on the same day.

📞 No internet access? No problem. You can still call us, and a receptionist will complete the form on your behalf.

We appreciate your patience as our team adapts to this new system. We’re confident it will lead to quicker, more efficient service for everyone.


🤖 Meet EMMA: Our New AI Patient Assistant

Also launching on October 6th is EMMA, our new AI-powered assistant developed in collaboration with QuantumLoop AI.

EMMA will help manage morning call volumes—especially during the busy 8am period—by:

  • Answering your calls with care
  • Assisting you in completing Accurx request forms
  • Directing you to the right clinician or admin team
  • Reducing wait times and phone queue stress

This is part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience and making access to care more seamless.
